Originally from the midwest, Dr. Victoria Knauf always knew she wanted to move out west. After completion of her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree and residency training, she discovered beautiful Durango, Colorado. She worked at a private practice for two years before she decided to open her own private practice. Evidence-based medicine and strong patient-doctor communication are the foundation of Sole Summit Podiatry. She is board-certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and an active member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Her specialties include sports medicine, biomechanics, chronic wounds, diabetic foot care, and the treatment of fungal and ingrown toenails. Her clinic will offer in-house custom orthotics, as well as FDA-approved Class IV laser therapy for chronic inflammation and pain, plantar fasciitis, warts, and stubborn toenail fungus.
In her free time, Dr. Knauf enjoys spending time in the San Juan mountains, whether it is mountain biking, road biking, hiking, or skiing. She also loves traveling and exploring new countries and cultures.
